Back to Normal
Let’s remind the Congress, on their first day back, that we are paying attention. As I wrote a couple of weeks ago, we need to ask our Senators to sign on to Feingold’s Censure Resolution and demand that they denounce Specter’s ‘it’s OK to break the law’ Surveillance Bills S2453 & S2455.
EFF is asking that we remind everyone we know to call in and attempt to stop this nightmare legislation.
I have a few other petitions and such and then I need to get moving.
Demand that ABC to tell the truth about 9/11.
Here’s a special offer from the publishers of Thom Hartmann’s new book – Screwed: The Undeclared War on the Middle Class
Union of Concerned Scientists asks you to vote for the new science idol.
Support Unions.
Check out Charles Sanders campaign ad.
Wilderness Society asks that we attempt to stop oil and gas leasing in Alaska’s Teshekpuk Lake Region.
CodePink reminds us of the September 21st Nationwide Declaration of Peace. There are events all over the Country.
The Nation has a great resource for College and High School educators.
Stop the War on Iran.
For those in Iowa, Tom Harkin invites you to a steak fry.
OK everyone – have a great day. Time to get busy.

I just really like what you're doing here. Have you seen this http://thinkprogress.org/ where ABC is planning on sending out the high schools free copies. Since when is this not propaganda? It stinks to high heaven.
